Whenever some new wild restaurant opens in Japan, there’s a flurry of attention online. And then? Then, these one-trick-pony restaurants often just fade away. We found our meals waiting for us on trays attached to individual stools—there were no traditional tables in the show area. That’s apparently so patrons will focus on the performance. The two-hour show consisted of ladies singing and dancing. And when they weren’t doing that, they were playing the drums. The robot portion, during which women in bikinis began piloting mecha in, um, bikinis, was apparently only twenty minutes of the show. The site did say that the robots moved smoothly, though (for only twenty minutes, I guess). Still, most of the show is singing, dancing, and drumming—that’s it. However, Yattar News didn’t say how the food was. Looking at images online, the food didn’t appear delicious—but seemed like something you could buy at convenience store pg123 for cheap.
